The Moment Before God

WSD

DEB HIRSCH & ALAN HIRSCH

Kairos is the idea of taking the presence of God in time seriously. It is a saturated time, a moment before God. Whether we like it or not, we now find ourselves in our own kairos/crisis moment. How do we as God's people faithfully respond to this? In this workshop we will explore the meaning and application of personal metanoia--humbling ourselves before God; re/aligning our lives and churches around Jesus and His cause; clarifying our identity in Christ, resisting the lure of the powers in the swirling ideologies of our time; living in the power of the resurrection and experiencing freedom from the weight of the curse.
